Description :

• TAP 567 is a drop point improver specially designed for Lithium Greases to improve the dropping point property.
• TAP 567 is used as an additive in Lithium base greases to obtain the following results:
• Increase in the dropping point.
• Excellent Rust preventive characteristics.
• Very good shear stability.
• Good results in the 1,00,000 strokes test.
• Timken test passes up to 20 lbs load.
• The grease also gets a very good appearance on storage without leakage on the surface.
• It can be used in oil due to the rust preventive characteristics.

Product Dosage :

• Approximately 2.5 - 4.0% depending on the Final Results required.
• Product Dosage/ Method for use in greases as a drop point improver:-
• For Grease of 180 C - 220 C : Approximately 2.5% of TAP 567 to be added in the grease at temperature about 130 C - 140 C (without exhaust) and continue stirring for around 30 minutes. After that start the exhaust to get rid of smell/odour and cooling to be continued.
• For Grease of 220 C - 250 C: Approximately 3.0% of TAP 567 to be added in the grease following the same procedure as given above.
• For Grease of 250 C - 280 C: Approximately 4.0% of TAP 567 to be added in the grease following the same procedure as given above.
• Product works excellent with 12 HSA based Simple Lithium Grease
